Love Your Bath
If stepping over the side of the tub has become a worry, you can get rid of it. A tub-to-shower conversion takes out the tub and puts in a low-threshold shower in the same space. Love Your Bath does tub-to-shower conversions with Jacuzzi® shower systems across Tampa Bay, Orlando and Florida.
A tub-to-shower conversion is one of the most common changes for homeowners who want to stay in their home longer. The tub wall is the hardest part of the bathroom to get past, and the conversion removes it.
Until then, the tub sets the rules. You hold on to something every time, you time your showers for when someone is nearby, and the worry about a fall never quite goes away.
Love Your Bath starts with a free design visit. A designer listens to what you need, measures the space and builds a plan with your options and a free quote. You choose the shower walls, the finish and any safety features like grab bars or a built-in seat. Our crew, mainly our own installers, takes out the tub and puts in a low-threshold Jacuzzi® shower, so getting in and out is a step, not a climb. Most jobs take as little as one day. If your job needs a permit, ask at the visit and it is settled before work starts.
When the work is done, the crew goes over every detail and activates your lifetime warranty. You get a shower you can walk into without thinking about it, covered for as long as you own your home.

Had a Garden Tub to Walk in shower conversion . Tristan was the installer.
He did this 2 day job by himself . I was very impressed with his skills during demo and install in a 3rd floor condo incased in concrete. He had to break out the jack hammer to complete the drain.
Once completed the Shower is awesome.
Thank you

From my initial conversation at Costco to our sales rep visit with Mike and finally with our installer, Jodeci, we had a wonderful experience. We had a bathtub to shower remodeling done. All of them were courteous, professional and most importantly, honest. Jodeci, came in and did his work. While here, he kept the bathroom area clean by using fans, open windows and keeping doors shut. He kept us in the loop as to what he was doing along the way. By the time he finished, the new shower was exactly as promised. Thank you Jodeci for a job well done. I would recommend this company for any future remodels.

Really happy all around with our tub to shower conversion. Everyone was very knowledgeable about the product and the cleanliness during installation was impeccable. We had a cheaper option and could have done both bathrooms through another company but Love Your Bath was so much more thorough and the quality of materials was exceptional. Can't wait to do our second bathroom soon!

Getting in and out of the tub is a balancing act now. You only shower when someone else is home, and you are tired of worrying about a slip.
Common questions
What it costs to convert a tub to a showerYou want to swap the tub for a walk-in shower and you need to know whether it fits your budget before you call anyone. The cost depends on the size of the space, the shower base and wall style you choose, and any safety features like a seat or grab bars. Because we replace just the tub and not the whole room, it costs far less than a full remodel. You get an exact, free quote at the design visit.
Is converting a tub to a shower a good idea? You are worried that taking out the only tub, or putting one back in, will hurt resale or that you will regret it later.Think about who uses the bathroom today and in the next few years. A walk-in shower is easier and safer to step into. A tub matters more to families with small children. If the home has another tub, converting one is rarely a problem. Our designer will talk it through with you before you decide.
Do you need a permit to change a tub to a shower? You do not want to start a project and then find out it needed a permit, or that it causes a problem when you sell the house.Permit rules in Florida are set by your city or county. Ask at your free design visit whether your job needs a permit, so it is settled before work starts.
