A shower gets used every day, so it wears out. Walls fade, corners get hard to clean, and stepping in can feel less steady than it used to. In Gainesville, FL, we replace the shower or the tub on its own, with no full remodel. Installs take In as little as One Day.
For a worn shower, a shower replacement brings in a Jacuzzi® shower system with grout-free walls that help reduce mold and mildew buildup. If you want an easier way in, a walk-in shower can have a low or barrier-free entry and a built-in seat. Have a tub you never use? A tub-to-shower conversion swaps it for a low-threshold shower. Want a bath back instead? A shower-to-tub conversion does that.
Here are three shower replacements we finished in Gainesville, one each in 2023, 2024 and 2025. The 2023 job has Smooth Sandstorm walls, Chrome fixtures and an open entry with no door. In 2024 it was Smooth Quarry Topaz walls, Brushed Nickel fixtures, a dual bypass door and a fold-down seat. The 2025 shower has Smooth Seaside walls, Brushed Nickel fixtures and an exposed roller door.

What it costs to turn a shower into a tub
Want a bath back in your Gainesville home? A shower-to-tub conversion turns a shower into a bathtub and updates the wall surround in the style you pick. What it costs comes down to your choices. That means the tub style, the wall type and color, the base, the fixture finish and any safety features like grab bars. You choose each one with a designer at your home, and you get a free quote on the plan.
