Senior Bathroom Remodeling in Florida

Senior Bathroom Remodeling in Florida

Stay in the home you love, with a bath or shower that is safe to use every day.

Most people want to stay in the home they love for as long as they can. The bathroom is usually the first room that gets in the way. Stepping over a tub wall, standing on a wet floor, reaching for a towel bar that was never meant to hold your weight. Each one gets a little harder every year.

Senior bathroom remodeling doesn't have to mean gutting the room. We replace the one thing that makes bathing hard, the tub or the shower, with a genuine Jacuzzi® system and leave the rest of the bathroom the way it is. Most jobs take as little as one day.

There are three ways to take the climb away. If you love a bath, a walk-in tub lets you open a door, sit down on a built-in seat and keep the long soak, with grab bars where your hands reach. If you mostly shower, a walk-in shower with a low or barrier-free entry turns the climb into a step. If you have a tub today and only shower in it, a tub-to-shower conversion puts a low-threshold shower in the same space.

Whatever you pick, you can add grab bars and a built-in seat placed for how you move. A designer comes to your home, listens to how you use the bathroom today and builds a plan with your options and a free, written quote. Nothing is decided for you.

A word on Medicare. Original Medicare generally does not pay for walk-in tubs or bathroom remodels. Some Medicare Advantage plans include home safety benefits, so it is worth asking yours. We never promise coverage, but we will give you a written quote you can take to your plan.

Installation is done mainly by our own crews, so one company answers for the work from start to finish. When the job is done we walk you through every detail and activate the lifetime warranty on the product and the workmanship. It covers you for as long as you own your home.

We serve 36 Florida communities, from Tampa Bay and Orlando to Jacksonville, The Villages, the Space Coast and Southwest Florida.

Outstanding work performed by the installer Sam. Working by himself, over two full days and challenged with the task of demolishing the existing tub, walls, and wood frame work was amazing. To transform this old space to accommodate new fixtures, Sam demonstrated professional skill in his craftsmanship and attitude. The final result is a lovely new shower and our heartfelt appreciation, thanks again Sam Rivera.

What a great company to work with. From the salesman to the installer, everything moved very smoothly.. Our bathroom was installed and just two days. The installer was very thorough and worked very hard to work around us in our home leaving our home the same way he found it when he first arrived. I suggest if you’re looking for a new bathroom, give them a try.

Frequently asked questions

What is the safest bathroom option for a senior? It depends on how you bathe. If you like baths, a walk-in tub with a low entry, a built-in seat and grab bars removes the climb over the tub wall. If you mostly shower, a walk-in shower with a low or barrier-free entry is usually the easier choice. A designer can show you both at home.
Do I have to remodel the whole bathroom? No. We replace just the tub or the shower, so the rest of the room stays as it is. That is why most jobs take as little as one day.
Will Medicare pay for it?Original Medicare generally does not pay for walk-in tubs or bathroom remodels. Some Medicare Advantage plans offer home safety benefits, so ask your plan. We do not promise coverage, but we will give you a written quote you can take to them.
What warranty do I get?A lifetime warranty that covers you for as long as you own your home. We go over every detail when the job is done and activate the warranty right then.
Does Medicare Advantage pay for a walk-in shower or tub? Some Medicare Advantage plans include home safety benefits, and what they cover differs from plan to plan. Call your plan and ask. We will give you a written quote you can send them, but we never promise coverage.
How long will I be without a bathroom? Most jobs take as little as one day, because only the tub or shower is replaced, not the whole room. Your designer will tell you at the visit if yours will take longer.
Can my family be there for the design visit?Yes. Family members can join the visit in person or by phone, and everyone sees the same plan and the same written quote before anything is decided.
Do you work in The Villages?Yes. The Villages is one of the 36 Florida communities we serve, along with Tampa Bay, Orlando, Jacksonville, the Space Coast and Southwest Florida.
